Viewpoint Seafood AS is a Norwegian technology company that has spent more than a decade developing patented offshore aquaculture solutions for demanding ocean conditions.

As an early mover in offshore fish farming, we have transferred proven offshore oil and gas engineering principles into aquaculture, combining industrial track record with hands-on farming expertise to create systems capable of withstanding harsh weather environments.

All core technologies are protected by international patents. Our designs have been validated through extensive basin testing, CFD analyses and completed FEED processes to ensure structural integrity, operational safety and long-term performance.

For the Spidercage project, we have been awarded four development licenses in Norway. These licenses enable full-scale testing of both equipment and operational models in semi-exposed conditions before moving into fully exposed offshore environments. We believe this phased approach represents the most responsible and technically sound pathway for offshore adaptation.

Our technology portfolio includes Spidercage, designed for semi-exposed conditions, and Seafarm, developed for more exposed offshore areas. Together, they form a scalable platform for the next phase of industrial offshore aquaculture.
